“It’s a huge blessing how everything fell into place that led me to working at Bird Forestry, not far where I grew up and now live,” states Cheyenne, a Panola County native. After receiving a Forest Wildlife Management degree from SFASU with a minor in Biology, Cheyenne joined her husband John as being part of our team. When not at work, she spends her time being a wife and mom. She enjoys photography and trying to outshoot John with her bow. She humbly admits, he’s the better archer. Together they also like all kinds of hunting, arrowheads, looking for antler sheds, and occasionally exploring the mountains of Colorado. In addition to being a Forester and Wildlife Biologist, Cheyenne assists Bird Forestry with marketing and social media, environmental projects, and managing the hunting lease program.
